The Circuits And Systems (CAS) research group at the Centro Universitario de Ciencias Exactas e Ingenieria (CUCEI), belongs to the Universidad de Guadalajara (UdeG), and is located at Av. Revolucion #1500, Ed. M room 210. It was created in 2009 when Professors M. Gurrola and A. Medina joined the institution; the group has had over 20 journal publications and conferences, and over 15 graduated students.
The main goal of the research group is to develop high technology, by means of advanced techniques, that can significantly impact the advancement of society. The research lines professors and students explore include Logic Synthesis, Analog Circuits, Microwaves, Antennas, and Semiconductor Devices. The combination of these lines has resulted in the successful implementation, at different levels, of fully integrated systems comprising ECG and audio procesing, 8 to 24 bits microprocesors, mixed signal correlators for communication applications, semiconductor characterization, low-voltage amplifiers and delta-sigma modulators.
